The applicant must be a female who is actively pursuing flight training, has soloed and passed her FAA Written Examination and must live within 99 NM of Sacramento Executive Airport. Applicant should be prepared to undergo a personal interview at Sacramento Executive Airport.

Applications must be postmarked by April 30, 2008.

The Amelia Earhart Memorial Scholarship Fund
was established in 1940 to help deserving members to further accomplishments. Today the Amelia Earhart Memorial Scholarship Fund exceeds $3 million and provides:

• Amelia Earhart Memorial Scholarships
• Research Scholar Grants
• New Pilot Awards
• Maule Tailwheel Training Award

These are the primary scholarships offered by the Fund to deserving 99s Members who are licensed pilots in need of financial assistance to progress toward a specific goal of qualifying for or advancing in an aviation-related profession or charitable cause.
